Dr. Sam Brassell, Covenant Baptist Church’s senior pastor, and Mrs. Roma Henderson, widow of the church’s founding pastor, the Rev. Davy J. Henderson, share ceremonial groundbreaking duties and a hug in memory of the former senior pastor. The new building on the church’s grounds at 3170 South Houston Levee Road in Collierville will add classrooms for children and adults and office space for staff.
